Art Toronto 2025
TrépanierBaer is delighted to share a preview of our presentation at this year’s edition of Art Toronto. Comprising textile, painting, photography, and sculpture, TBG’s presentation demonstrates the range of the gallery’s represented artists.
Several works will be unveiled and presented for the first time in Canada including Jen Aitken’s monumental Pillar alongside several of her latest small sculptures and related drawings. Vikky Alexander’s most recent suite of paper collage archival inkjet prints titled, Woodlanders will also be featured in a solo exhibition within TBG’s booth.
Coinciding with star curator Zoe Whitney’s group exhibition Fly Birds Fly curated for Art Toronto’s Focus section and featuring Alicia Henry’s remarkable Untitled (Inspiration for Clerestory), 2018 TrépanierBaer will present several outstanding and never seen before works by the artist who tragically passed away in 2024.
Works by other key artists include new and recent works by the critically acclaimed Simone Elizabeth Saunders, who recently joined TrépanierBaer, Luanne Martineau, Kent Monkman, DaveandJenn, Han Sungpil, Ron Moppett, Evan Penny, James Carl, and Carol Wainio.
Of special note and coinciding with the Loch Gallery Toronto’s FrAmed exhibition featuring collaborative paintings by John Hall and Ron Moppett, TrépanierBaer will present two works from the artists FrAmed series of immaculately executed and playfully serious works. These are not to be missed.
Additional works by Oscar Cahén and Ambera Wellmann including Oscar Cahen’s, original and rare ink and watercolour drawing titled The Lineman used for the cover illustration of the 1952, March 15th edition of Maclean’s magazine will also be featured.
