Acquisitions from TrépanierBaer at Art Toronto 2022
The plaudits were aplenty for TrépanierBaer’s booth at this year’s Art Toronto. The curation of artworks left audience members amazed, and many made repeated visits to see the diversity, breadth and scope of the works on view. To that end, we are pleased to announce the following acquisitions:
- Evan Penny’s eloquent sculpture Camille, Variation #3, 2014 was acquired by the Royal Bank of Canada
- Alicia Henry’s intimate and figurative paper works Untitled 05 & Untitled 11 , 2008 were acquired by the Art Gallery of Ontario
- Chris Millar’s dynamic, kinetic, colourful and mind-blowing sculpture Eclipse at Arc Valley , 2021-2022 was acquired bya private collector
Other works by Alicia Henry, Jen Aitken, DaveandJenn, Chris Millar, Kent Monkman, Evan Penny and Sarah Stevenson were placed in both private and corporate collections as well, and there is more to come.
We are thankful for these acquisitions; and congratulations to our artists!
