The Honourable Kent Hehr, on behalf of the Honourable Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, Pablo Rodriquez, and the Honourable Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, Francois-Phillipe Champagne, announced the Federal Government’s support of $30 million for the Contemporary Calgary Gallery Renovation and Expansion Project. In addition, the Federal Government also announced $80 million in funding for the Arts Commons Transformation project.

Truly a remarkable day for the Calgary Arts Community—$110 million.

This is a truly transformational moment. And as we press forward, we also look back to the leaders who have helped to pave the way including the efforts of countless board members, community builders, employees, volunteers and artists who each have played a role in our collective success.
