TrépanierBaer Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of the Fall 2020 season on Friday, September 11 with an exhibition of works from the corpus of  the esteemed artist Carroll Taylor Lindoe, her first solo exhibition in Canada in over two decades.

Carroll is one of the nation’s most remarkable artists, with a practice spanning over four decades that includes sculpture, painting, photography, drawing and installations. After several years away from the commercial art world , we are thrilled to re-present Ms. Taylor Lindoe’s work to a new generation of collectors, curators and critics across the country. On view will be paintings from several bodies of work including the Savage Paintings; zoomorphic sculptures from the Little Haven Lizard series; the Beautiful Paintings, and more.

And while you are marking your calendars for this Fall inaugural event, please take note of the following upcoming exhibitions, fairs, and events planned for the gallery and our artists:

October 3 – James Carl: unveils two new monumental sculptures in Calgary. Further details are forthcoming.

October 23 –  Introducing Alicia Henry

October 28 – November 8 – Art Toronto 2020:  In addition to the virtual fair, audiences will be able to attend in-person at participating galleries, expanding the fair’s experience across the country to hub cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montréal. This year, TrépanierBaer will participate in events and exhibitions in both Calgary and Toronto associated with the fair.

October – November – Ryan Sluggett:  unveils   Untitled! Untitled! (Ed Terrestrial), a new video installation  he has been been working on over the past three years. 

November 26 – Discovering Oscar Cahén (1916-1956): at the Centre Space in Toronto, located inside Feheley Fine Arts proper at 65 George Street in Toronto.  This collaborative exhibition is the first for Feheley Fine Arts and TrépanierBaer Gallery. A highlight of the exhibition will be Cahén’s rarely-seen masterpiece The Warrior, completed before the artist’s untimely death in 1956.

November – Chris Cran: opens at TrépanierBaer with an exhibition of new and recent works.
