Spring News from TrepanierBaer Gallery

We have finally passed the March equinox and Spring has hopefully sprung wherever you are.

TrépanierBaer has much to report on the current Spring activities of our artists in terms of exhibitions, awards, and media reports from across the country;  and we are  proud to share this news with you.

Sarah Stevenson

Fonderie Darling, Montréal, Québec

A new collective of sculptures by Sarah Stevenson will premiere at the Fonderie Darling in Montréal in an exhibition titled Lignes Entrelacées.  This exhibition will  be anchored by an impressive sculpture over 12 metres long and 3 metres high.  While the overall dimensions of this sculpture would convey monumentality and density, the materials used belie this sense of weight: delicate thread and wire are woven to create a gossamer cage of voluminous proportions, demarcating both positive and negative space.

On view April 22 to August 22, 2021 at the Fonderie Darling; for more information click here .
